PLANiTULSA! Think big. (Dreamers wanted)
An Invitation from TulsaNow... To Get Involved in the Comprehensive Plan!
We know what youre thinking: What the heck is the comprehensive plan, and what does it have to do with me?
Thats why TulsaNow will host a public event called PLANiTULSA: Think Big! (Dreamers Wanted.) Speakers will include John Fregonese, lead consultant to the City of Tulsa for the PLANiTULSA project, and Gary Reddick of Sienna Architecture Group. Members of the City of Tulsa Planning Department will also be on hand to answer your questions. The event is free and open to the public.
PLANiTULSA will be about implementing the communitys vision." The process starts with one basic question: What do people want?
Thats where you come in!
We want all Tulsans to understand the importance of the comprehensive plan, and how you can play a role in shaping Tulsas future.

Including Godfather, Indiana Jones, Braveheart, etc. That was pretty cool; it was great seeing those movies back up on the big screen since I was too young to have seem them during the original run. Braveheart especially brought out a lot of the diehards. Many people wearing kilts and facepaint.

Gilcrease Museum and TU public celebration
Gilcrease Museum, the City of Tulsa and The University of Tulsa are celebrating a historic partnership with festivities open to the entire Tulsa community.
Events will continue throughout the day, and include an open house reception, storytellers, musical entertainment, kid's activities, a reception and a book signing with Michael Wallis.
The celebration coincides with the opening of 101 Ranch: The Real Wild West, a new exhibit at Gilcrease.
Come out to support this exciting new chapter in Gilcrease Museum's history!
